“Life is what you make it is,” says Shweta Das, founder of GyaanSutra. It is a common phrase I use while I talk to people, mentioning my life’s journey.
Life taught me hundreds of lessons, from forsaking my dreams of studying at a renowned college in India ( due to financial constraints) to becoming self-sufficient at 20. I’m glad the almighty chose me to go through and overcome those. I have heard that ambitious women are undesirable. Women who don’t know household chores are the worst, and that made me question our existence. Why are we even alive? To keep shut when we see men cheating? To look like a beautiful blank-minded showpiece?
I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2019. I decided to change the mindset of the people when I wanted to be SELF-DEPENDENT. Often, I have heard that women target successful men. I wanted to be successful enough to make people understand that it’s not a gender issue but a mentality bug.
Founding GyaanSutra
GyaanSutra started in May 2020 right after the COVID-19 lockdown. I observed that students face problems regarding school classes and tuition and their worries regarding exams as most of the classes are just a mere video conference. I also found that parents are losing out on money and jobs. They are struggling hard in between their current survival and their child’s future.
GyaanSutra’s education platform is just for students who want to study, score higher, and grow in life regardless of the pandemic crisis. In India, we have 30% upper-class people, and we are here to cater to that 70% of families who are unable to give their child the best education due to financial crisis. GyaanSutra has the best tutors with fantastic communication skills making sure that the child is not pressured by any means.
Our tutors are young and passionate. Therefore, the age gap isn’t a problem anymore in the teaching and learning process. Our classes start at Rs. 30 and can be booked through www.gyaansutra.com or WhatsApp, 9102388096. My journey has just started, but I wish to see more women getting into entrepreneurship, thereby proving all the negative statements wrong!
