Why ManaHprasAda’s was created?
“There were experiences in my life that opened up my mind towards the spaces that I would have rarely explored or thought about. They made me think of the unexplored potential we humans have to channelize for the greater good. It is not about me anymore. It’s not about my needs, wants, and desires. It’s the realization that true happiness comes from within when you go beyond yourself to do something for someone without expecting anything in return. Hence, ManaHprasAda was created.”
– says Hima Bindu ( Founder – Manahprasada)
A Working independent single mom showed many how to step up to this pandemic crisis and do our tiny bit in these testing times. She created this noble platform of Manahprasada for many to connect and experience sustained happiness through various initiatives they support, enable and transform lives.
This platform focuses on social initiatives and services that connect people who want to help with those who need the help. Their main aim is to help enable digital literacy across the underprivileged strata of the society, as pandemic has affected many people not only physically or emotionally but also economically.
During these challenging times, they launched “Let’s HELP ALL BREATHE” initiatives. It focuses on the enablement of economically affected people, free counseling, Free meal distribution, free Mask distribution for the needy, Community feeding of Stray dogs, and support artists and artisan community during the lockdown.
Their initiatives do not involve any direct donations. Still, it’s an exciting model that enables homemakers & economically affected individuals, connect with the people who need their services and people who want to support the needy, all to come together for one reason called “Humanity.”
This initiative has distributed close to 1500+ free meals and masks across various groups from BBMP Porakramikas, frontline workers, construction workers, Humanitarian homes, Orphanage, transgender community, Rohingya community Quarantine homes, and remote villages with close to 40+ families today.
They further collaborated with the Divndee dance company to raise funds for a Community feeding program for Stray dogs during lockdown for Charlies Animal Rescue Centre. Today they were able to help feed 600+ dogs for a month across Bangalore. Manahprasada offers free one-to-one counseling sessions with Mrs. Vasantha Vaikunt ( founder Lifenliving.org), who has counseled more than 800 + individuals and groups as a part of her service.
Manahprasad is shortly launching an initiative to help the artist, transgender, and weaver community this June. It is a creative campaign that looks at making a big difference to humanity in a small way. Be a part of this noble cause with Manahaprasada and positively touch more lives during this pandemic.
