It is a story about Parinaz Kharas, who is better known for name Thebombaybloggerofficial.

I was living in one of the busiest metropolitan cities of India. I have been good at my studies and co-curricular activities during childhood, also topping in one subject during my 10th standard. Everything wasn’t so rosy after that. I couldn’t get into a good college since I secured just 82% in my boards. The history repeated itself, and the same happened to me even after my 12th. So, I had to opt for a course in BBA from a private college. After a year of doing the course, it got nullified, which ultimately led to 1 year of mine getting wasted.

I eventually landed up in the last choice on my list, B.Com., beginning from the first year since I had no other option to choose, after trying hard to find out other possibilities and not coming out with one. My true fate began working its magic on the first day of joining this course; I got lovely new friends, interacted with many people, and made new connections. The best part of college life was when I got the opportunity to lead the college fest as the Chairperson, which gave me many new experiences.

The birth of thebombayblogger of Parinaz Kharas

When I was in the first year of graduation in the new college, I began interning as a social media consultant with a start-up, which taught me a lot about the world of blogging. While interning, I had to contact many bloggers as a part of my work, which ignited the interest of blogging in me, resulting in me starting my Instagram page on 25th March 2016 by the name ‘Thebombaybloggerofficial.’ I decided to land upon this name as I was a blogger from Mumbai. Thus it suited the work I was going to upload on my handle.

Looking back, I feel that getting a nullified course was a blessing in disguise since otherwise, I would have been doing a master’s in a completely different field today. I am now a successful content creator and a social media consultant who has learned much over the past years. I still remember my experiences at my various workplaces. Over time, due to God’s blessings, my sheer hard work, and constant motivation from my well-wishers, I have been featured on various portals, making me proud of myself since I earned all of this fame due to my caliber.

Working as a full-time content creator, I focus on creating and delivering quality content and posting authentic and unbiased content for both my clients and my Instagram page. Having interned as a media consultant earlier, I got lucky enough to get a digital marketing degree, which further boosted my choice of this profession as my career. My content focuses on catering to Fashion, Food, and Lifestyle, working with a considerable number of brands, varying from dentists to jewelers. Apart from this, I also work as a brand consultant.

I prefer to take those brands that the regular bloggers avoid if they resonate with my personality and meet my criteria. The reason behind this is that I try to promote these brands gradually.

I have also worked for several famous brands and restaurants such as Behrouz Biryani, Oven Story, Lays, MCaffeine, to name a few. Touchwood, I have had a very supportive audience so far; the opposite is only probable competitors.

Parinaz Kharas follow the mantra – “Don’t compare the 1st chapter of your struggle with that of the 10th chapter of someone else. Wait for the right time; everyone has their day!“
