As a child, she was always interested in sports (a triathlete, cyclist, and swimmer) and arty activities like writing poems, crafting, and painting. Yashaswi Sane had a strong artistic side to her personality right from her childhood.

Yashaswi Prafulla Sane hails from Mumbai and is the youngest member of her family. Her father, Mr. Prafulla Jagannath Sane, is a veteran businessman, her mother, Mrs. Prachi Prafulla Sane, is a teacher, and her elder sister Anushree Sane is a doctor by profession.

Yashaswi had to change her schools throughout her childhood consistently. Eventually, she joined Fergusson College, Pune, to pursue her graduation in Arts, which she completed in 2018. In the same year, she started pursuing M.A. in Economics and completed her post-graduation in 2020, where she topped her Autonomous University.

In her early teenage years, Yashaswi used to paint on glass and quill. It sparked an avid interest in painting for her. She also used her artistic skills to express her love to her close ones. She got a lot of appreciation from her friends and family for her exemplary painting skills. It developed and boosted her passion even more. Yashaswi believes that she was relatively naïve in the beginning, but with time she grew more confident about her work.

Consequently, Yashaswi created a social media account to display her art creations and paintings in public. She designed beautiful nameplates on requests put forth by various families approaching her.

The oil pastel & water painting made by Yashaswi on Najwa Zebian’s (a very famous author) book ‘Mind Platter’ is a fantastic representation of her painting skills and a unique way of paying tribute to the renowned author.

Yashaswi is also fond of sketching, and her talent can be seen through the pencil sketching of sightseeing eyes. Yashaswi is exceptionally creative when it comes to canvas painting and glass painting. One such glass painting of hers gained immense popularity in which she had displayed the true and eternal love between Lord Krishna and Radha. Her first-ever glass painting was of Lord Ganesha that she had created on the arrival of Ganesha Chaturthi.

Yashawi Sane creates each piece of art with a lot of love, dedication, and customization required by her client. Currently, she has expanded her work and offers customized nameplates, canvas paintings, kettle art, and decoupage to her clients.

However, an artist’s life is never easy. Yashaswi was a tad disappointed when her artsy posts and drawings didn’t get enough reach, views, and appreciation initially. It is only recently that people have started taking notice of her work more.

Her recent artistic reels on Instagram have crossed 2K views, and she is hoping for even better numbers in the future. She does her best to promote her social media pages and tries to get them at the forefront to bring smiles to people’s faces.

Yashaswi always followed her instinct and never paid heed to any backlashes that came her way. She just wanted to pursue her passion and kept following the path in pursuit of achieving her dream. She wanted to prove all her naysayers wrong, and she succeeded in doing so.

Her family and friends kept her motivated throughout her journey. Especially her elder sister. She supported her the most. And the slow yet steady support by her audience made her journey more satiating. Today, all her supporters and followers are always excited to see her new and upcoming work.

Yashaswi wishes to encourage all the people who are still hiding their talent. She believes that if she can do it, so can all others. She encourages other upcoming artists to share their creativity on their page and showcase it to the world just like she did.

Even though it might be tough for them initially, things will get better as they consistently walk the path of their artistic journey. Yashaswi believes that this world is a vast and beautiful canvas, and all we need is to add the colors of our passion.
