Tushar Raj Luthra’s story dates back to 2016, where he was working in Chandigarh as a stylist for a top-notch luxury make-to-measure brand. Let’s hear his story in his own words. I was stationed at Elante Mall. My everyday customers were C-suite employees, entrepreneurs, and business tycoons. I had an impressive clientele, and I was excellent at my job.
One fine afternoon, I received a notification in my email. It was from a girl who was looking for a job. She had an impressive resume attached. I gave it a look and decided to give her a call. I had never met her or known her before. We had a mutual friend, though. We also had a lot of things in common. Both of us are animal lovers, both of us enjoy swimming.
She had worked for PETA and has also won a couple of gold medals in swimming competitions. She was younger than me but had already achieved way more than me. I saw a lot of myself in her. She was a better version of me.
So, the next evening I gave her a call, and we spoke for a few minutes. We decided to connect on LinkedIn and discuss the job aspect. But unfortunately, that was the end of the story. After the call, I never heard from her again. I won’t say that I was in love with her, but I can say that I liked her and wanted to know her more.
This sudden cut-off gave birth to the idea of my debut romantic comedy novel “Love at First Print.” This incident inspired me to take snippets from my life and combine it with fiction. When it comes to relationships, I have not been fortunate. I have plenty of one-sided love stories which I decided to share with the world.

Tushar Raj Luthra: Life Teaches. Love Reveals
When it comes to rejection, a lot of people take it destructively. They will indulge in alcoholism, drugs, stalking, or worse, acid attacks. I decided to turn all my rejections into art. Over the next 15-18 months, I created all my story characters. Every girl that I ever loved/liked was a part of my book. Of course, I have not revealed their true identities.
I finished the manuscript by November 2018 and self-published it on 8th January 2019, hence kick-starting my author journey. It was a roller coaster ride but with immense learning opportunities.
Life teaches a lot of lessons, but love reveals your true purpose. Don’t be disheartened. There’s something good in every bad and something positive in every negative.
