This story is about two girls who met each other and formed a precious bond for a lifetime. It is the story of the unconditional love of Camille and Adriana. Camille grew up in the Middle East of France. She lived there with her parents and has two sisters. She always knew that she liked men and women and that she was bisexual.
Adriana, on the other hand, grew up in West Germany. She lived with her parents and has a younger brother. Adriana had only dated men previously. The story of how they met each other and fell head over heels for one another is exciting and inspiring.
Adriana had shifted to Australia in the year 2018 and started working at a hotel in June. Within a few months of her joining, Camille, too, happened to join the same hotel in October. It was in October 2018 that they met for the first time as strangers. They became good friends within a few days and clicked.
They shared their problems, ambitions, and childhood memories. It was only after Christmas that they started spending more time together. They both were in regular touch with their families via calls and text. But the truth was that they were far away from their families in a foreign country and found comfort in each other. They started developing stronger emotions for each other.
Adriana realized that she was madly in love with this beautiful person. She adored everything about Camille. Her personality, way of seeing things, ambition, and kind heart. Camille, too couldn’t help but fall for Adriana. Her sense of humor and caring nature made her fall in love with Adriana. The fact that she could be herself around Adriana made her feel at home.
Camille and Adriana: A tale of Boundless Love
It was New Year’s Eve, and Camille had to work that day. Adriana, on the other hand, went to the Opera House to watch the fireworks. When they met each other the next day, they couldn’t hold their feelings for each other. On the 1st of January 2019, they first confessed their feelings and formed an inseparable bond for life. They had found their eternal home away from home! The gender didn’t matter to them as they loved each other’s nature.
Soon, they wanted to share the good news with their family and friends back at home because they believed in sharing and spreading happiness. Their families and friends were incredibly supportive and happy for them. There was no ounce of disappointment or setback, only because they are open-minded and believe in love without boundaries.
Unfortunately, as luck would have it, Adriana’s visa had expired, and she had to fly back to Germany in February. Camille and Adriana had to face separation just when they had found the love of their lives! But this didn’t deter them. Unlike other people, who forget each other when parting ways – they wanted to stick together, against all odds.
Camille decided to leave Australia and fly to Germany to be with the love of her life. The very next month, Camille too reached Germany – yet another foreign land, only to be with Adriana.
And ever since, they have been inseparable. Both are working in Germany at the same job and saving for their future. They share a passion for traveling to different countries and want to travel the world together. They have a shared dream of seeing new places, beaches, cities, countryside, and experience every culture. They want to get a job that allows them to travel around the world.
But Sydney holds an extraordinary place in their heart, and they hope to settle in Australia someday. Amid the pandemic, they are staying in Germany and have kept their plans on hold. They have even exchanged promise rings with each other as a mark of their eternal love. And they wish to get married in the future.
Despite everything going their way, they have faced discrimination by society, random strangers, and the public in general. People passing comments on the street or looking at them differently is part of their everyday lives! Especially if they hold hands or kiss in public, they get awkward stares. But they don’t let people dictate their life and choices. This has motivated them to share their story on social media and spread awareness about how love doesn’t see gender, color, or caste. It is boundless. They try to encourage people to go ahead with their life choices and be proud of who they are – irrespective of what people think or say!
They love to live each day as it comes, and that’s what makes them so unique! The eternal spirit they have for life and love is commendable. The very attitude of not caring about people and living according to their choices is inspiring. They want to follow their passion and live life to the fullest.
And it’s appalling that, as a society, people look down upon same-sex couples and force them to conform according to the pre-set notions. When I see Camille and Adriana, I see only love in its purest form. After all, LOVE is just love. It should not be given any ‘tags.’ Because, in the end, it is all about happiness.
