Tale of A Drug Dealer and Addict Bryan Keith Stanley – Story Continues

The man looked at me and told me I ruined his career and life. Still, he told me that he had forgiven me because God loves me, and so does he, and he wants me to get well and get some help. The incident changed my heart to the extent that I can’t tell you.

I knew that it was a matter of time before the police discovered my true identity. Much to my surprise, the police did not catch it, and I began to serve time for a felony. I used to remember the man’s words, and I told God that I needed to see him if he existed, and it wasn’t long before an elderly gentleman in his 90s came in to preach and lay hands on me as I submitted my prayer request to him.

During this time, I had become the elected preacher man. I proceeded to tell this elderly gentleman that I would like if he would pray for me. I told him that I wish to receive wisdom, grace, and knowledge to lead this life, and he prayed for me.

When the man laid hands on me, my stomach began to roll as if it was boiling. This very night I was given spiritual eyes and ears. The parables in the Bible came to life for me. I was given the gift of Faith and discernment by the Holy Spirit that would be a catalyst for my future success in leading God’s people to the truth.

I had made my mind to follow and obey the teaching of the Holy Bible. This decision unlocked the mysteries of the secret of the Kingdom of God to me. I am now spiritually minded and prepared to fulfill my destiny. The Holy Spirit led me to the Scriptures written on John 14 John 14:21. Whosoever has my Commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me. My father is the one who loves me, and I love him and reveal myself to him. These were the exact words that I spoke to myself when I decided to take my own life.

After the incident, I had reached a point where I was so miserable inside, so I decided to commit suicide. I had told God that if he had something for me, I needed to see him right away because I was about to check out this world. It wasn’t long until two gentlemen came in and laid hands on me, and I received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I served time under aliases until the filling of the holy spirit convicted my heart, and I decided to confess my crimes. The next day, I had a meeting with officials where I was supposed to confess my crimes. These agents were astounded that I had decided to confess as I was running away for quite a long time and had become good at it. Due to this juggle, they struggled to locate me, so they were surprised at the move.

During the meeting, I explained how the holy spirit has changed my heart and converted me into a good human being. I knew from scripture that the load God Almighty would never leave my side or forsake me. Furthermore, whenever I would speak to my mother, she would remind me of it. It strengthened my decision and purified my soul until I confessed everything.

The FBI asked why I was doing this? I replied that I’m more accessible now that I’ve never been in my life. They asked if there was anything they could do for me, and I told them that I would love to go home one day. They commended me for my decision.

I gained respect from other prisoners, and it was something I could never forget. I have been the prison pastor all my life, living a lie telling these people to trust in God when I was not trusting him myself.

After the confession, I had reached past three felonies. This time punishment was severe, i.e., a life sentence. The next day, five states were waiting to deport me with felony holds. Three days before the transfer, I asked the prison guard what state I would be going to next. After a short wait, he returned with the news and documents.

According to documents, all five states had agreed to drop the charges that were filed against me. I couldn’t believe my luck that I was a free man. How was it even a possible thing? But everything is possible if you believe in God. He is truly miraculous and the most powerful in the whole world. Nothing is above him.

I got out of prison as a Freeman with no holds, and I didn’t forget God this time. I brought him outside with me. To repent my deeds, I immediately joined the Word of Life church and entered the healing school program to become an usher. It provided the peace of mind that I needed the most.

However, it wasn’t long before I was diagnosed with a bone disease. Within two months, the disease took my ability to walk. I remained on a hospital bed for several years. I had fractured both hips twice. Again, I wasn’t able to walk, and the same helplessness returned to me.

The whole day, I’d sit in a wheelchair with no hope of ever walking again. My house was set up with a power wheelchair beside the toilet, hospital bed, and shower equipment according to my requirements. Doctors refused to operate after knowing about my past medical history. I’ve had this phase before, so they feared taking the responsibility into their hand.

I prayed a lot, and after lots of prayers, I received a call from a clinic. They were the same medical professionals who had previously turned me away. Within two weeks, I received my first hip replacement. After several more surgeries, doctors replaced both my hips. Five years later, from this point, I was able to walk again. I finally reached the point of walking around the entire block without stopping. It was a miracle, and I was on top of the world. I was so grateful to have my legs back. People had no idea how important it is for them to take care of their bodies and give thanks for what they have because it can be taken from them.

The next day after the milestone of walking around the block, I was hit by a motorist and left to die. It left me with traumatic brain injury, a sheltered pelvis, torn tendons, and linemates, not to mention fractured and herniated spinal desk. Each time, the attack was far more difficult to bear than the previous one. Maybe it was God’s way to punish me for my deeds. That’s why I meet the same fate again and again.

During the phase, I went through countless surgeries, and once again, I was fighting two regain my memory from the brain injury. Before this accident, I never expected the fact that I was going to lose my leg. I thought it would be fine, but reality shattered my dream when the team of doctors came in to draw a line on it to remove it. I threw them out of the room and demanded all new doctors. I was given what I asked for.

The new team performed more surgeries. It wasn’t easy to survive, but they say that the will to live and the determination to strive influence the human mind. My leg survived, and so did I.

Fast forward to now, in the present, I am living with my 90 years-old mother, enjoying life, writing Christian articles in my ministry that is one of the most significant and rapidly growing ministries on Quora. I lost my wife a few years ago, and I raised my three kids singlehandedly.

I’m active on Quora, and here I write about my life experiences. I feel satisfied when I write these bizarre yet true stories of my tragic life. Through Quora, I reach millions of people to spread the word of God. We take the story to all Nations through various Christian spaces that I own. Now, I spend my days teaching counseling and spreading the word.

I’ve been through many phases in my life, from living a life of luxury to being flat on my back, depending on others for years in a hospital bed. No one can understand the struggle and pain better than me.

My greatest lesson is ‘We do not understand the meaning of life or even find our life’s purposes until we go through some pain. I genuinely believe in it. From my experiences, I have discovered that our scriptures are true. I’d like it if you also believe in this line.

We know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him and who have been called according to his purpose. Everything in our life is already written and destined to happen. So believe in him and keep living a good life.
