Jamila hails from the Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh, India, where her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. Her whole family and the surrounding surroundings were so much involved in practicing Islam that Jamila also got highly involved in practicing Islam. She was very much interested in pursuing and gaining keen knowledge about Medicine but she ended up taking an engineering course in order to fulfill the professional requirements of her life.
She got her chance of knowing about medicinal facts and to benefit people around her and of the whole world when she was once added by someone from her contacts in a WhatsApp group called ‘Tibb-e-Masoomi’. The group admin of WhatsApp used to share the medicinal facts from a Shia book called ‘Tibb-e-Islam’.

From here, she thought of spreading this knowledge and benefiting humankind by starting her own Instagram page called ‘Tibb-e-Islam’. She shares every information about diseases and their ways of prevention on that page after receiving it through the WhatsApp group.
Jamila’s family was thrilled and supportive of her good work of spreading and sharing this beautiful knowledge, especially during the time of the covid-19 pandemic, when everyone needs authentic information. The most motivating sources for her were her followers, who message her regularly and thank her for the information.
She didn’t have to face very hard challenges but backlashes used to arrive from people as text messages where they used to say that they don’t believe her and that they used to doubt the authenticity of her knowledge as she is a Shia Muslim by some Sunni and Wahabi Muslims especially. This used to upset her a lot. Fortunately, on the other side, she is also having followers of the same origin, i.e., Sunni and Wahabis who appreciate her work.
She finds it very amazing that though she is from an opposite career background; she can pursue a lot of knowledge about medicine and has made herself so knowledgeable. Jamila has realized while working for this initiative that knowledge is power. She has also learned about how nature and its laws actually work, though little.
