Shlok Pathak: The phoenix

Shlok Pathak

Greetings, my lovely readers. Here I present to you a story of a musician who is not exactly a musician, a businessman who is not only a businessman but also a person who is more than just a human being. But a story, sometimes a sad one, sometimes a bold one but always a beautiful one. Today, our protagonist is Shlok Pathak, a 20 something businessman who owns a beautiful music recording studio in the city of Ahmedabad. He produces beautiful original music albums, but he is always up and about to help new artists find their stage.

Shlok Pathak – His Story

Shlok Pathak’s story is incomplete without his dad, so before starting with his life history, we must pay our respect to his father, who was a beautiful soul, a beautiful human being, and Shlok’s support system. Shlok lost his father in 2019 to an illness. But rather than focusing on this loss, we are remembering him and honoring his beautiful soul.

Shlok’s father was a hardworking man who had to sacrifice his time with his family due to work but never let this distance matter. He was the backbone of Shlok’s life, so he insisted that we pay homage to him his father’s story along with his story. Shlok was a person of sports during his childhood. Not only was he a fantastic cricketer but also a table tennis champion. A sportsperson working in the music industry, you might wonder, but well, if we tell you everything right now, you wouldn’t read the entire piece, will you now? So, let’s play it slow, shall we?

Let’s start from the beginning, Shlok’s childhood. As a kid, he was always moving around, from one city to another. Not being in one city constantly made him love his life even more. He liked to move, unlike other kids. For him traveling was a beautiful escapade that he still enjoys and is fond of.

Different schools, friends, and environments every time he moved to a new place was a part of his life. He loved it the most. Due to his father’s work, they moved around, but he never complained, unlike most young ones. From a very young age, he understood why his father had to move. He needs to understand his father’s conditions. He made sure that he scored well and never wished to create a problem for his parents to make their lives as simple and easy as possible.

He inherited responsibility from his father, and he still proudly recognizes this trait of his. He enjoyed taking care of his parents from a very young age and continues to do so.
Shlok was not only a scholar but was also a great sportsperson. He has played through various national-level tournaments for his school in cricket and table tennis. But he never knew that his studies would be the reason as to why he would be forced to leave his one true calling; Sports.

His 12th standard board exams were near and collided with the dates of his national-level cricket tournament. With great regret, he had to choose studies over his love for cricket, not because he was forced, but he understood the value of education and how important it was for his family to be responsible. As a teenager, he decided to choose his family over his passion, and when asked about having any regrets, he said: “I have no regrets. I did it once and would happily do it again if it means my family would be happy.”

Not only did this make me cry, but it also instilled in me a significant amount of respect for this man. He was sitting in front of me, with a smile on his face as pure as gold. At the same time, he talked about how he had to leave his true calling and heard him say he would do it in a blink again.

As beautiful as Shlok is, his story, purity, and vision make him different and unique, and powerful. In his college years, he found his love for automobiles take over everything else that he wished to do in his life and aspired to do something in the field, but as vital his will was to open his garage was his will of having independence as well.

At a young age, he decided to open his first venture on his own, he could have asked for capital from his father, and as supportive his father was, he would have given him the money in a blink. But instead, Shlok decided to look for investors. His seek ended when a friend decided to join him in this journey. With great efforts, he was finally able to open his first venture in his college years, and in the beginning, the business took off with great success. Finally, he was doing something that he loved and earning well. His dream of helping his father was finally fulfilled.

But, as life is not always about the upward curves, his business turned out to be a failure. He incurred a significant loss, and his friend left him in between. He was again right where he started, at the start, AGAIN. But, his will to do something great was more significant than any loss. His love for business was far greater than anything else.

Not only did he start a new business venture but also did he find the courage to do it all again on his own. Falling and rising are a part of life. We all know this, but in reality, very few of us find the courage to start again, and enlisted is Shlok’s name in this list of great courageous hearts. The Musical Club (TMC) is his venture in Ahmedabad, a recording studio that helps new and upcoming artists find a stage where they can showcase their talent and rise through the lists of successful names!

Shlok found the courage to do something for himself and his family and set up a platform for other artists to find their voice, a platform where they can showcase their talent and rise!
